Railcars is one Aria Jalali, his first release came last year as a 7″ recorded by Xiu Xiu’s Jamie Stewart and they has recently played shows with HEALTH, Handsome Furs, and Former Ghosts. While his recorded noise-pop is just him, his live show incorporates more players including live visuals making for quite a visceral experience bringing the songs to life.

Trapped in a Loop är Magdalena “Mag” Ågren och Richard Widerberg som gör fantasieggande pop och innerlig ljudkonst med röst, looppedaler, gitarr, megafon, trombon, fält-inspelningar och elektroniska instrument.

HANDSHAKES (US)
Handshakes began as a college party band who played fractured house music and dancepunk in basements sticky with spilled keg beer. After spending a few years broading it’s artistic spectrum, handshakes basically does the exact same thing, except now in the art galleries of Seattle’s warehouse district. Though it’s punk spirit has become somewhat subsumed in study, the same attitude adds a certain anxiety even to it’s most “pop” songs. Part of the “wearefuckingawesome” art collective, Handshakes takes frequent part in collaborative projects, and is currently designing sound for the Satori theater ensemble production “Winky.”
